Your Role - Cybersecurity Expert

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Expert with strong technical and offensive capabilities to join our team in Israel.

This role combines hands-on work in Penetration Testing and Risk Assessments with a smaller portion of professional training and advisory for organizational cybersecurity teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct advanced penetration testing on networks, systems, and organizational applications.

· Perform comprehensive risk assessments and cybersecurity posture evaluations across multiple sectors.

· Analyze findings, prepare professional reports, and deliver actionable security recommendations.

· Contribute to the design and execution of cyber-attack and defense scenarios in training environments.

· Support and lead professional cybersecurity workshops and awareness sessions for technical teams.

· Collaborate with IT, management, and clients to enhance overall cyber defense maturity.

Location

The position is primarily based at CYBERGYM IEC’s Training Arena in Tel Aviv, near the Hashalom Train Station, with occasional work from our headquarters in the Northern Hi-Tech Park, Caesarea.

Skills and Experience

· Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with proven work in Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment - Mandatory.

· Experience conducting risk assessments, risk analyses, and security posture reviews - Mandatory.

· Practical experience with cloud environments (Azure and AWS), including knowledge of cloud security controls — Mandatory.

· Strong familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (OWASP, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) - Mandatory.

· Excellent instructional and presentation skills, with the ability to train and guide technical professionals.

· Deep understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and IT infrastructure architecture.

· Hands-on experience with offensive tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, etc.

· Understanding of OT/ICS systems and infrastructures – strong advantage.

· Relevant certifications (CEH, OSCP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).

· Full professional proficiency in Hebrew and English, spoken and written.

· Strong analytical thinking, initiative, and teamwork skills.
