Job Summary: This Accounts Receivable Specialist role is crucial for ensuring the financial health of our company through effective collections, billing, and administration of A/R services. The position involves working closely with both internal team members and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to ensure compliance and excellence in financial processing and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will manage and reconcile accounts, develop and implement collection strategies, and ensure the accurate processing of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute collection strategies for outstanding accounts, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Manage the processing and allocation of cash applications, and complete government-specific invoicing requirements.
• Coordinate with the Sales team to resolve customer requests and maintain positive relationships.
• Conduct daily reconciliations of posted payments and manage A/R mail and communications.
• Assist with the updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the preparation of Sales Tax Reports.

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication capabilities and ability to work independently.

Domain/Industry Experience Required

• Experience in finance or accounting within a government-contracting environment preferred.

Minimum Requirements

• Federal Enclave access requirements must be met.
• Capability to adapt quickly to change, prioritize, and multitask effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
