Senior bookkeeper & payroll accountant for a fast-growing global startup company

Responsibilities:

• Reporting and working with tax authorities in Israel
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Overseeing bookkeeping for subsidiaries worldwide
• Preparing books for audits and managing all month-end closing processes
• Handling travel expense processes and records
• Processing payroll for 150 employees

Requirements:

5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or CPA certification – an advantage.

· Chief Bookkeeper up to balance sheet.

· Experience working with banks, preparing payments, ongoing communication with local and international banks, handling credit cards.

· Experience and knowledge working in a multi-currency company and handling intercompany reconciliations.

· Experience in monthly/quarterly closings and preparing books for audit.

· Experience working with tax authorities in Israel.

· Experience working in a global company and with accounting teams in subsidiaries worldwide.

· Experience in reporting and managing travel expenses abroad.

· Familiarity with Priority ERP – a strong advantage.

· Advantage: knowledge and experience in inventory processes, inventory closing, and inventory management in Priority.

· High ability for independent learning.

· Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

· High level of English – reading, writing, and speaking.

· Advanced Excel skills.

· Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.

· Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
