Job Description

We are looking for a System Engineer, you will own an advanced armed UAV platform within the organization, with responsibility for the full lifecycle development of projects for this platform, from concept, requirements, system architecture, payloads, hardware, software, algorithms, integration, verification, field testing, and qualification through to deployment and customer support. The role requires strong multidisciplinary leadership, aligning project-driven goals for R&D, product, testing, and manufacturing teams, while adhering to an evolutionary development roadmap for the UAV platform’s capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop and lead a coherent development roadmap for your UAV platform that supports current and future projects, based on a modular and evolutionary system architecture.
• Convert operational needs, product and project requirements into system and subsystem specifications and an executable development plan. Allocate requirements and define interfaces between subsystems (avionics, armament, payload, communications, etc.).
• Plan and lead the development, integration, validation, ground tests, flight testing and qualification for each product, with traceability from requirements through to validation and testing. Closely coordinate between the development, integration and testing teams, with a hands-on in-depth approach, to ensure agile and efficient development cycles.
• Conduct system performance analysis, troubleshoot system-level issues, and propose design improvements as part of CIP (Continuous Improvement Process)
• Document and communicate system design rationale, trade-offs, and test results to all stakeholders. Define and manage system and interface documents (SRS, ICD, ATP, test plans, etc.).
• Lead technical reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.). Participate in safety, reliability, and system certification processes.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical / Software / Mechanical / Aerospace – mandatory
• M.E. in Systems Engineering – advantage.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a system engineer of a multidisciplinary system. Proven experience working with software-intensive systems involving sensors, embedded computing, AI, and communications.
• Relevant experience in the defense Industry. familiarity with MIL-STD systems engineering methodologies, reliability, and safety principles
• Experience with UAV or airborne systems - advantage
• Strong knowledge of system integration, verification & validation.
• Experience in leading and supporting field tests and flight tests.
