We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources & Operations team in GM Israel for a temporary maternity leave cover. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment and contribute to the success of a leading global company.

As an HRBP, you will partner closely with leaders and employees across the organization to drive key HR initiatives, support organizational development, and foster a high-performance culture. You will be responsible for delivering HR solutions that align with business goals, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and global policies.

What will YOU do?

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic HR guidance and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
• Lead and support organizational change initiatives, workforce planning, and talent management strategies.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and development programs in alignment with global HR practices.
• Collaborate with global Centers of Expertise (COEs) on compensation, talent acquisition, learning & development, and employee relations.
• Provide guidance on local labor law compliance and manage employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
• Support organizational design, job architecture, and transformation efforts.
• Utilize Workday to manage HR processes and data effectively.
• Contribute to maintaining a strong, inclusive, and motivating workplace culture.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree – an advantage).
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a global organization, preferably within an American corporate environment.
• Deep understanding of organizational development, talent management, and HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of Israeli labor laws and HR best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Workday platform.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage complexity, and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew.
