Launch and Control Systems Engineer | Yehud, Israel | IAI

We are looking for a System Engineer to join IAI, supporting the development of launch and control systems for a wide range of munitions used in both defense and offense.

The position includes:

• System engineering for interception systems including artillery based systems, missiles, interceptors, and additional weapon systems

• Leading and managing the engineering development across multiple engineering disciplines

• Defining system architecture and development methodology

• Managing the development program of the weapon system

• Matrix management of internal engineering teams and external subcontractors

• End to end leadership of the development process from technical definition through delivery to the customer

• Leading verification, validation, and proof processes of the developed systems

What we’re looking for:

• Academic degree in Engineering

• Three to five years of experience in system engineering required

• Proven experience working in matrix engineering environments required

• Experience working with defense and security organizations is an advantage

• Background in a defense company is an advantage

Good to know:

This role involves system engineering of multidisciplinary systems in both defensive and offensive domains. The position covers full lifecycle development from mission planning and munition control through successful mission execution, combining technical leadership with strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
