VP of Sales

Role Purpose

The VP of Sales will lead and scale iLeadX’s revenue engine, with a strong focus on complex, high-value, consultative sales processes.

We are seeking a consummate "Hunter" at heart who excels in New Business Development and thrives on the challenge of penetrating new markets. This role is responsible for building long-term partnerships with enterprise clients and senior executives while designing a scalable, data-driven sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

New Business & "Hunter" Leadership

  • Unrelenting Proactivity: Drive the growth of the company by unlocking closed doors, penetrating Greenfield markets, and masterfully navigating the path from objection to agreement.
  • Hands-on Lead Generation: Generate opportunities from scratch using advanced market intelligence tools and creative outreach strategies.
  • Strategic Ecosystem Building: Cultivate high-level relationships with partners and leverage this network to generate quality referrals and identify high-growth opportunities.
  • Events as a Sales Engine: Lead the sales strategy surrounding iLeadX conferences and professional events, turning high-level content and networking into a robust sales pipeline.

Complex & Consultative Sales Leadership

  • Own and lead end-to-end complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, long decision-making processes, and high-value engagements.
  • Conduct deep client discovery and diagnosis to translate strategic business needs into tailored value propositions.
  • Lead sophisticated negotiations (pricing, commercial structures, contracts, and long-term retainers).
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, board members, and senior HR leaders.

Data-Driven Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Define and execute the company’s sales strategy, ensuring it is data-driven and aligned with long-term growth plans.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline with a strong focus on deal quality, strategic fit, and forecast accuracy.
  • Identify and develop new growth opportunities across enterprise accounts and new verticals.

Team Leadership & Enablement

  • Build, lead, and mentor a senior sales and commercial team.
  • Develop and implement a structured sales methodology and playbook tailored to complex, consultative sales.
  • Provide hands-on deal coaching and direct involvement in strategic opportunities.

Performance Management

  • Full ownership of revenue targets, forecasting, and KPIs.
  • Utilize data to drive close rates, increase customer lifetime value, and provide actionable market insights to the leadership team.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in senior sales leadership roles, with proven success in complex / consultative B2B sales.
  • Hunter mindset: Proven track record of winning New Business and penetrating Greenfield accounts.
  • Experience selling high-value services: (Executive Search, Professional Services, Consulting, or Enterprise SaaS – strong advantage).
  • Access & Influence: Leverage a robust personal network and the ability to work directly with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Data-Driven & Strategic: A strategic thinker who uses data and market intelligence to drive decision-making.
  • Execution Mindset: Hands-on approach to deal-making and lead generation.
  • Excellent communication, influence, and executive presence.
