**Job Description Summary

**GE HealthCare Haifa Ultrasound group is looking for an outstanding software engineer for its application team. The ideal candidate would combine deep technical understanding, strong problem-solving skills, passion for innovation and be a true team player. In this position you’ll take part developing the next generation Ultrasound system UX and complex user optimized workflows based on touch technology.

**Job Description

**Mandatory skills and experience:

• B.A./B.Sc. in CS/EE from a leading institution / experience from IDF tech units.
• At least 5 years developing client side software with C#.
• At least 5 years of developing complex application with C++.
• Experience building complex Windows applications using WPF.
• Experience building complex multithreaded software.
• Excellent knowledge of OO design principles and patterns.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Passion for quality and experience in writing well tested code.

Bonus Skills

• DICOM/HL7 interoperability interfaces
• Familiarity with HW/SW interfaces and Windows internals.
• Passion for quality and experience in writing well tested code.
• Familiarity with UX design principles.
• Experience working in Agile settings (Scrum/Kanban).
