We're looking for a skilled and motivated Data Lake Administrator to take ownership of all cloud-based data infrastructure on Azure, including Data Lake, SQL, Data Factory, and more—help us shape a brand-new team and build the foundation for data excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage data lake architecture to support business needs.
• Monitor and optimize data lake performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to integrate data sources and support analytics initiatives.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, storage, and processing.
• Maintain documentation of data lake processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field- advantage
• 3+ years of experience in data lake administration, data management, or a similar role- must
• MS-SQL Administrator- must
• Deep knowledge with: Azure Data-Factory, Synapse, Data-Fabric
• Terraform- significant advantage
