VP of R&D - DSP, Embedded Systems, and Applied THzBuild Our R&D Department from the Ground Up (995250)

We're seeking an ambitious VP of R&D to join our startup and build our R&D department from scratch for an impactful start up. This growth opportunity is perfect for an electronics engineer ready to step into leadership while staying hands-on (40-50% technical work).

Reporting to our CTO and working with our CSO and VP of Product, you'll shape our technical direction in THz technology, low-SNR DSP, and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical work: Develop DSP algorithms, embedded firmware, and hardware-software integration
• Build the team: Recruit, hire, and mentor engineers as we scale
• Lead projects: Manage end-to-end development from concept to commercialization
• Drive innovation: Work with cutting-edge THz and DSP technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (essential)
• 5-8 years experience with hardware, software, and embedded systems
• Technical skills: C, C++, Python, microcontrollers, FPGAs, PCB design
• Leadership readiness: 2-4 years team leadership or project management
• Location: Commutable to Herzliya, Israel

Preferred

• DSP and low-SNR signal processing experience
• THz technology familiarity
• Startup environment experience
• ISO 13485 or regulated environment background
