Who are we?

We’re a newly funded game studio building a next-gen simulation title in Unreal Engine 5**.**

Founded by veterans from the gaming, creative, and tech industries, we’re on a mission to craft deeply systemic, narrative-rich experiences that challenge the mind and spark curiosity.

The Role:

We’re looking for a technical leader who can own major gameplay systems from concept to live deployment. As Lead Unreal Engine Game Developer, you’ll develop manage and mentor a team of developers while shaping the systems that define the player experience - from gameplay logic and tools to backend support.

You’ll be a key voice in cross-disciplinary decisions, helping us balance rich simulation with engaging moment-to-moment play.

Responsibilities

• Own core gameplay subsystems end-to-end (design, implementation, maintenance).
• Lead and grow a team of developers in a collaborative and empowering way.
• Collaborate with design, art, and narrative teams to align systems with creative goals.
• Write clean, optimized, and maintainable C++ code within UE5.
• Build tools and pipelines that streamline QA and content creation.
• Support analytics, streaming, automation, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to architecture planning, code reviews, documentation, and system scaling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in game development, 8+ years in Unreal Engine (4/5)
• Proven leadership of engineering teams in shipped projects.
• Expertise in C++; bonus: experience with C# or Python.
• Strong systems design thinking and understanding of architecture.
• Experience with multiplayer, streaming, serialization, or entity systems.
• Shipped PC/console titles - ideally action, sim, or immersive games.
• Ability to analyze and optimize for performance.
• Familiarity with source control, build automation, and QA tools.
• Located in Israel or Europe. remote / hybrid is an option, case by case.
