Quantum Art is a start-up developing full-stack quantum computers based on trapped ions. The number one challenge in quantum computing is scaling systems to the point where their performance surpasses that of classical computers and delivers significant value to customers.

We are addressing this challenge by leveraging the most advanced qubit technology, trapped ions, and by implementing a unique, proprietary architecture that has been developed over more than 20 years at the Weizmann Institute of Science.

We are looking for a skilled and driven Product Manager to lead the definition and execute our product strategy. This is an essential role that bridges customer needs, business objectives, and cutting-edge R&D. You will help guide our roadmap, ensure product-market fit, generate products’ requirements and help translate quantum breakthroughs into real-world products.

You will be the primary link between the external ecosystem - customers, users, analysts, and partners—and our internal R&D and executive teams. This includes gathering insights, defining product specifications, and supporting development, go-to-market, and positioning efforts. You’ll also help represent the company at conferences and events.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product full lifecycle—from research and planning to launch and iteration.
• Gather and synthesize market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions.
• Translate high-level goals and customer requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
• Collaborate closely with R&D and Engineering to align product scope, technical feasibility, and development timelines.
• Develop business and marketing plans to support product commercialization.
• Identify opportunities to enhance product value and expand market reach.
• Create and maintain high-quality product documentation and collateral (e.g., datasheets, pitch decks, technical briefs).
• Monitor industry trends, customer developments, and competitor movements to maintain a differentiated position.
• Contribute to go-to-market strategy, product messaging, and positioning.
• Represent Quantum Art at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Qualifications

• BSc./MSc. in Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Computer Science, or Physics. Advanced degrees and/or familiarity with quantum technologies are preferred
• 5+ years of R&D experience, ideally in deep-tech environments.
• 4+ years in product management preferably within Quantum, HPC, or similar advanced computing domains.
• Deep understanding of full-stack product architecture, including hardware, embedded systems, compilers, APIs, and user applications.
• Ability to bridge technical depth with business and market realities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage diverse stakeholders from scientists to enterprise buyers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic, high-uncertainty startup environment.
