Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join an innovative AI startup revolutionizing marketing through artificial intelligence. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel. As a key member of our team, you will work on building and optimizing AI-powered marketing platforms using cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend of web applications.
• Build dynamic user interfaces using Angular.
• Design and implement efficient back-end systems with NestJS and PostgreSQL.
• Work with Python for back-end and AI integrations.
• Integrate real-time communication features using technologies like Socket.IO (bonus).
• Utilize RabbitMQ for efficient message handling and communication between services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and impactful features.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt independently (autodidact).
• Strong foundation in Python and TypeScript.
• Basic knowledge of back-end frameworks, particularly NestJS.
• Understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with real-time communication technologies like Socket.IO.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and integrating APIs or models.
• Knowledge of scalable systems or microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
