🚀 About the Role:

A leading global corporation is looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join its R&D team.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality, test automation, and BDD practices. You’ll be working hands-on with Python, Cypress, and Gherkin, building and maintaining test frameworks that ensure high system quality across all layers – from OS and file systems to APIs and databases.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Cypress
• Write BDD test scenarios using Gherkin
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on test planning and coverage
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple tech layers
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through automation
• Continuously improve and expand the automation framework
• Document test plans, strategies, and outcomes

✅ Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in automation testing

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Cypress

• Proven ability to write BDD scenarios using Gherkin

• Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows), system architecture, and file systems

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
