Wanted: CTO for a SaaS company in the AdTech industry. This is a very rewarding full-time position in Tel Aviv.

The chosen candidate will lead the technology vision and execution at a rapidly growing video content platform

Job Responsibilities:

Product & Platform Development

● Lead end-to-end development of mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms. (React and React native)

● Translate product requirements into clear development plans and sprint execution.

● Drive seamless UX through close collaboration with Product, Design, and BI teams.

● Oversee DevOps, version control, deployment, and app store delivery as well as the CMS.

AI & Video Automation

● Define and lead the company’s AI/ML strategy around video summarization, personalization, recommendation engines, and automated content production.

● Build intelligent pipelines for transforming content formats.

● Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge tools (e.g., FFmpeg, OpenCV, scene detection, narrative compression) into scalable workflows.

Technology Leadership

● Set the long-term architectural strategy and technical vision for the company.

● Build and lead a high-performing internal tech team, and manage external vendors when needed.

● Establish best practices in agile development, QA, and code quality.

Infrastructure, Scale & Security

● Design scalable backend architecture (Firebase, AWS, CDNs) to support millions of video views.

● Ensure platform stability, data privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

● Lead analytics and event-tracking integrations (Mixpanel, Firebase, custom tools).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

● Work closely with Founders, Content, Marketing, Sales, and BI teams to ensure technology drives business growth.

● Translate complex technical decisions into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

● Lead the integration of monetization tools and optimize advertising tech stack.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as CTO, VP of Engineering, or Senior Tech Lead in a content/media/video-focused company.

● Deep expertise in app development (React Native, React), CMS platforms, and video infrastructure.

● Strong background in video tech: streaming, encoding, storage, delivery.

● Experience building platforms at scale, handling large user bases and video traffic.

● Background in gaming or interactive media is a plus.

● Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage environments with a builder’s mindset.

● Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and applications in media personalization.

● Excellent leadership, hiring, and cross-functional communication skills.
