Position Overview

We are looking for a driven and client focused Account Manager to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with existing energy-sector clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of Astoria Cyber’s solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of energy clients (utilities, IPPs, operators of power plants and microgrids, etc.)

• Develop a deep understanding of clients' technological needs

• Build long-term relationships by providing exceptional client service, strategic insight, and technical knowledge

• Lead end-to-end sales cycles: from prospecting and presentations to proposals, pricing, negotiation, and closing

• Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions and ensure project delivery meets expectations

• Monitor account performance, usage, and satisfaction; proactively identify expansion opportunities

• Represent Astoria Cyber at industry events and client meetings (some travel may be required)

• Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in Salesforce and report regularly to the CEO

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in account management or technical sales, ideally in energy, or industrial technology sectors
• Strong understanding of the energy industry, especially renewables, SCADA/OT systems, or EMS
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to close deals and manage large accounts
• Fluent in English
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
