About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic and passionate R&D Lead to head our Israel R&D operations.

You’ll lead a talented team, drive innovation and renovation agendas, manage product development, and ensure regulatory compliance across categories. This is a high-impact leadership role with strong cross-functional and global collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead R&D strategy, innovation, and product development
• Manage complexity, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with global R&D and local stakeholders (Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal, etc.)
• Engage with external partners (Ministry of Health, academia, startups)
• Oversee lab and factory trials, documentation, and portfolio improvements
• Represent Unilever in professional forums and associations

What You’ll Need

• B.Sc. or Engineering degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
• 10+ years of R&D leadership experience, preferably in food development
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English; willingness to travel as needed
