DALI Medical Devices, a company founded in 2003, develops, manufactures and sells novel injectable drug delivery devices to global pharma and medical device companies.

We are growing fast and looking to add a talented practical engineer to join our R&D team and help transfer projects from development to production.

This is an opportunity to play a key role and join an excellent team in a medical devices company aiming at improving patients’ quality of life globally.

(Reporting to lab manager)

Responsibilities

- Test Development & Documentation:

• Supporting verification and validation tests plans and formulation of test guidelines, acceptance tests procedures, protocols, and test reports.
• Develop and maintain test methods, equipment and instruments throughout all development and production stages of the product.
• Write test protocols and reports.
• Write work instructions and test scripts.
• Design and production of testing fixtures.

- Test Execution & Analysis:

• Perform laboratory tests with development team.
• Perform measurements with metrology instruments.
• Perform lot release tests.
• Perform failure investigations with the development team.
• Statistical analysis of results and recommendations to improve the design if required.

- Laboratory & Equipment Management:

• Participate in device assembly activities.
• Procurement of laboratory consumables and equipment.
• Responsible for 3D Printing equipment operation, maintenance and printing materials procurement.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support:

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance department.
• Support Operations department.
• Support commercial projects in manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

· Mechanical/Medical Device Practical Engineer certification is a must.

· Hands on Experience in the medical device field – a significant advantage.

· Excellent English proficiency – speaking, writing, and reading, including writing protocols and reports – Must.

· Full proficiency in SolidWorks.

· Experience in working with sub-contractors, preferably in 13485 environment – Advantage

· Experience with coding in Visual Basic language

The role will be performed at DALI’S offices, located in Yavne (15 min. from Tel-Aviv, in the vicinity of Yavne West train station), and in the manufacturing plants of our subcontractors – travel is required from time to time.
