Zipher is hiring an exceptional Lead Solution Engineer!

Zipher is a well-funded, early-stage startup reinventing how big data teams interact with the cloud. Backed by top-tier investors and already serving large enterprise customers in production, we’re building a cutting-edge platform that leverages machine learning to autonomously optimize cloud environments for data-intensive workloads.

We’re now looking for our Lead Solution Engineer to join the core team. This is a critical role that comes with full ownership of the technical win in customer engagements - from first demo to successful onboarding and integration.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background and is looking to combine these skills with customer facing interactions and business processes. You’ll lead POCs, onboard new customers, and ensure smooth integrations — helping data teams get real value from our product quickly and confidently.

Solution Architect Responsibilities:

• Own all technical aspects of the customer journey: POCs, onboarding, integration, and early adoption

• Translate complex customer needs into scalable, real-world implementations

• Serve as the technical liaison between product/engineering and customer teams

• Run demos, architecture sessions, and hands-on proof-of-concepts

• Continuously improve playbooks, tooling, and integration workflows

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or solution engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, AWS EMR, etc.) - Great advantage
• Solid understanding of cloud services (preferably AWS: S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience in a fast paced startup environment
• Ability to balance deep technical thinking with practical execution
