Senior Modernization Lead

We’re looking for a strategic, tech and execution-driven Senior Modernization Lead to lead and orchestrate our end-to-end platform modernization efforts. In this role, you’ll shape the big-picture roadmap, coordinate cross-platform initiatives, and ensure timely, aligned delivery across both technical and business domains.

You’ll work closely with engineering, architecture, product, and leadership teams to drive end-to-end modernization, manage risks and interdependencies, and ensure visibility and alignment at all levels.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the full modernization program roadmap, aligning technical and business objectives
• Coordinate cross-platform dependencies and sequencing, ensuring efficient execution across teams
• Partner with Architecture to align initiatives with tech strategy and platform principles
• Own and maintain the architectural decision log, guidelines, and modernization best practices
• Ensure all modernization tracks align with the long-term platform vision and architectural frameworks
• Prepare executive-ready updates, progress narratives, and risk assessments for key stakeholders
• Act as the central point of contact for modernization communication and cross-org coordination
• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and areas for improvement in execution or alignment

Who You Are

• 7+ years in program and project management roles, ideally in tech/platform environments
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
• Proven ability to translate high-level architectural direction into actionable program roadmaps
• Experience working with or managing programs related to tech stack modernization, e.g., monolith-to-microservices, cloud migration, or legacy system deprecation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable working across levels and both business and technical layers
• Strategic mindset, with hands-on ability to drive execution and resolve ambiguity

Advantage

• Experience working with architectural frameworks and standards, and facilitating adoption across distributed teams
• Exposure to technologies such as Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), GraphQL/REST APIs, and event streaming (Kafka, etc.)
