head of sales – defense & hls industry innovative and dynamic company 📍 location: central israel we are seeking a strategic and hands-on head of sales to drive growth in the global defense and hls markets. this role requires leadership of local and international sales teams, management of complex sales cycles, and direct engagement with key clients and partners.

🔑 key responsibilities:

📈 define and execute a global sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets

👥 lead, manage, and empower local and international sales teams

💼 oversee technical sales processes, including presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations

🌍 represent the company at international defense and hls exhibitions and conferences

🤝 collaborate with r&d and product teams to align offerings with market needs

🏆 personally manage high-value deals and strategic accounts

🧑‍🏫 recruit, onboard, and mentor new sales team members

📊 develop sales forecasts, manage budgets, and establish performance-based incentive models

🔍 analyze crm/bi data to optimize sales activities and identify growth opportunities

✅ requirements:

🎯 10+ years of proven experience in managing complex b2g/b2b sales in defense or hls – mandatory

⚙️ strong track record in leading sales of technical systems with long sales cycles – mandatory

📝 proven success in market analysis, strategic planning, and bid management – mandatory

💰 solid financial acumen with experience in managing large-scale budgets – mandatory

🗣️ excellent communication and presentation skills; confidence with senior stakeholders – mandatory

📊 proficiency in crm & bi tools with ability to extract insights – mandatory

🌐 full command of english (spoken & written) at business-negotiation level – mandatory

🎓 degree in engineering or business; master’s degree – an advantage

🧭 strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills – mandatory
