As our Controller, you will play a central role in shaping and managing the company's financial backbone. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant books, leading statutory reporting, ensuring transparency for investors, and supporting decision-making with financial insights. You'll collaborate closely with external bookkeeping firms, auditors, and tax advisors, while also working internally to streamline processes and support the business with timely and data-driven reporting.

This role requires both precision and initiative — we're looking for someone who can manage details with care while also improving systems, introducing automation, and driving efficiency in our finance function.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's books in collaboration with external bookkeeping firms.
• Prepare annual financial statements, tax reports, and monthly investor updates.
• Produce monthly internal analyses and ad-hoc financial reports to support management decisions.
• Oversee statutory reporting obligations to Israeli tax authorities, VAT, and U.S. tax authorities.
• Lead the company's collection process, including invoice review and collection activities.
• Manage company credit cards, virtual cards, and other payment methods.
• Collaborate with external auditors: prepare audit materials, address requests, and lead annual/semi-annual audit processes.
• Drive financial process improvements: digitize workflows, automate reporting, and optimize ERP/accounting systems.

Requirements:

• Certified CPA.
• Minimum 4 years of experience (including internship).
• Hands-on experience with Priority ERP and QuickBooks – strong advantage.
• Experience with Mesh – significant advantage.
• Strong Excel proficiency and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work independently with high attention to detail, ownership, and accountability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High-level English proficiency – must.
• Experience collaborating with external bookkeeping, audit, or tax teams – advantage.
