Our client is a global leader in the MedTech space, developing cutting-edge technology that is transforming the way healthcare is delivered. Their highly sophisticated medical devices are empowering patients and medical professionals alike by offering innovative solutions that improve lives. As a major player in the B2C market, they are now looking for a VP of Marketing to lead their branding and marketing efforts on a global scale.

About the Role:

The VP of Marketing will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that elevate the company’s brand, drive consumer engagement, and accelerate business growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in branding, preferably within the healthcare, MedTech, or other high-tech industries, and a deep understanding of global B2C marketing trends. Experience with D2C (direct-to-consumer) strategies or e-commerce is a strong plus, as the role will involve spearheading consumer-facing campaigns to drive digital engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Branding Strategy: Develop and implement a global brand strategy that resonates with consumers and positions the company as a leader in the MedTech industry.
  • Market Expansion: Oversee go-to-market strategies for entering new markets, identifying key opportunities for growth.
  • Consumer Insights: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to drive informed marketing decisions.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with product, sales, and R&D teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all touchpoints.
  • Digital & D2C Marketing Leadership: Drive innovative digital marketing and direct-to-consumer (D2C) campaigns, leveraging the latest technologies and platforms to enhance consumer engagement and boost e-commerce growth.
  • Brand Storytelling: Create compelling, value-driven messaging that speaks to both B2C customers and medical professionals, while highlighting the technology and benefits of the MedTech devices.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and performance excellence.
  • KPIs & Metrics: Track marketing performance through key metrics and adapt strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize ROI.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8-10+ years of senior marketing leadership, with a strong emphasis on branding in the B2C space, preferably within MedTech, healthcare, or other wearable devices.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated success in driving brand recognition and leading international marketing campaigns for a technology-driven company.
  • D2C or E-commerce Experience: Direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing or e-commerce experience is a strong plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and scaling marketing teams across diverse geographies.
  • Digital Expertise: Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, social media, and performance marketing.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic skills with the ability to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of crafting compelling brand stories.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
