Assistant Controller at Israel Secondary Fund (ISF)

Are you a motivated CPA with 2–4 years of Big 4 experience, eager to transition into the dynamic world of venture capital and private equity? Israel Secondary Fund (ISF) — Israel’s leading secondary fund with over $500M in assets under management — is looking for a sharp, hands-on Assistant Controller to join our growing finance team.

This is a unique opportunity to join a lean and high-performing team in the heart of Israel’s private tech investment ecosystem. You'll work closely with senior leadership, have broad exposure across fund operations, and play a key role in shaping our financial processes as we scale.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting
• Help manage regulatory and tax filings
• Contribute to fund administration and operational workflows
• Work directly with the Fund Controller and CFO on strategic financial projects

What We’re Looking For

• CPA-qualified (must)
• 2 – 4 years of experience, ideally from a Big 4 accounting firm
• Experience with VC/PE clients – a strong advantage
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
• A team player with an “ownership” mindset and strong work ethic
