**Job Summary

**We are looking for a buyer for a period of six months for maternity leave, who will be responsible for Raw material purchasing for our production line.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for the daily sourcing, purchasing, and follow-up activities related to production materials, services, and expenses from outside suppliers.
• Negotiating prices, business terms, and schedule to meet the company's business needs.
• Manage timely deliveries of materials to support the production and sales plan.
• Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Leading cost reduction initiatives, developing cost-effective procurement.
• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, and relevant internal departments in the organization.

Required/Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar preferred
• At least 3+ years of experience in procurement.
• Purchasing Management course or similar preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Proven experience in multidisciplinary purchasing – a must. Experience from a manufacturing and design company in the medical device industry – an advantage.
• Computer knowledge:
• ERP and Microsoft office
• Capabilities:
• Detailed oriented, good teamwork
• Personal capabilities: Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Well organized, highly motivated, and independent. Team player and collaborator.
