About the Role

We're looking for a talented and driven Frontend Team Lead to join our application team. As a hands-on leader, you'll guide and mentor a skilled group of engineers, collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams, and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions that transform construction projects worldwide. You'll balance technical leadership and hands-on coding, working in a vibrant, collaborative environment to push the boundaries of technology in construction.

What You'll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a talented frontend engineering team, fostering an environment of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous growth.
• Stay hands-on with development, working with React and TypeScript to build sophisticated user interfaces for interacting with complex data such as 360 videos, images, 2D floor plan maps, 3D models, and extensive data grids.
• Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers, ensuring alignment and efficient delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Take active responsibility for hiring, training, and team-building activities to scale and enhance team capabilities.
• Represent the frontend team in cross-functional discussions and planning meetings, ensuring technical considerations are effectively communicated.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience, including substantial hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring developers, or managing significant projects. We're also open to exceptional senior engineers with strong informal leadership experience ready to step into their first formal management role.
• Passion for solving complex technical problems, combined with excellent communication skills and strong technical intuition.
• A collaborative, empowering leadership style that inspires and develops others.

Nice to Have:

• Full-stack experience, particularly with Python and server-side technologies.
• Previous experience in dynamic, fast-paced startup environments.
