The QA Automation Engineer will be reporting to the QA Team Lead.Who are you?

You are a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer passionate about ensuring high-quality software through automation.

With a strong background in software testing and automation tools, you specialize in designing and implementing automated test scripts, including building the infrastructure to validate the functionality and integrations across different products. You are experienced in working with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to optimize the testing process, reduce manual effort, and increase the efficiency of the QA lifecycle.How will you contribute?

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in improving the quality and efficiency of our development process by designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks for both pre-and post-release stages. You’ll focus on identifying bugs early in the development lifecycle, helping to ensure a more stable and reliable product. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and investigating issues detected through automation, working closely with the QA and development teams to refine test coverage, and identifying areas where automation can reduce manual testing efforts. You’ll collaborate within an Agile, scrum-based environment to ensure seamless integration of automated tests, driving higher quality releases with faster turnaround times.

What qualifications and skills will help you to be successful?

• At least 5+ years of proven experience as a QA automation engineer on a web-based product using Java/JS/Python
• Experience with OOP, design patterns
• Experience with CI/CD processes (Github/Jenkins)
• Experience with Selenium / WebdriverIO / Playwright , or similar frameworks
• Experience with Mocha, Jasmine, or other test frameworks
• Experience in QA & Agile methodologies
• Excellent ability to isolate, troubleshoot, and document bugs
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to details
• Good understanding of API requests
• Experience with AWS services - advantage
