**The Role

**Administer and manage IBM mainframe operating systems, primarily IBM z/OS, with at least 10 years of experience. Ensure stable, efficient, and secure system operation through proactive maintenance, patching, and resource management.

**CICS Administration and Support

**Maintain and support CICS environments with 15+ years of experience, including region setup, transaction configuration, performance tuning, and integration with backend databases and batch systems. Ensure high availability and reliability of online transaction processing. **Software Installation and Configuration

**Install, configure, and maintain mainframe software products and utilities, ensuring compatibility with IBM z/OS and CICS. Apply performance best practices and version control across development and production environments. **System Monitoring and Performance Tuning

**Monitor system and transaction performance, identify resource bottlenecks, and apply advanced tuning techniques to improve throughput, CPU utilization, and response times. **Security Management

**Implement and manage security controls in z/OS and CICS environments, including RACF configuration, user authorization, and audit processes to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with security standards. **Backup and Recovery

**Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery procedures for z/OS and CICS systems, ensuring rapid recovery and business continuity in case of system failures. **Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution

**Diagnose and resolve complex system and CICS-related issues efficiently. Collaborate with development teams and external vendors to minimize downtime and ensure service quality.

Who You Are

• 10 Years of Experience as a Mainframe System Administrator on Operating Systems such as z/OS.
• At least 10 years of experience working in Mainframe Infrastructure teams
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
• Strong process improvement experience
