We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Head Bookkeeper to lead the company’s bookkeeping operations. The role includes managing a team of three bookkeepers and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial records and transactions.

What you'll do

• Manage and supervise a team of three bookkeepers, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
• Oversee the company’s cash flow on a weekly basis, including uploading payments to the bank.
• Support the bookkeeping team in daily accounting operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments, expense recording, and AR collections.
• Review and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Ensure all bookkeeping activities comply with internal policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
• Prepare and review monthly closing entries and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Handle intercompany (IC) billing on a quarterly basis, including issuing transfer pricing (TP) invoices.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations (IC Reconciliation) and coordinate with finance teams in other entities to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage VAT, withholding tax, and other local tax reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines.
• Collaborate with the controller to improve processes and implement best practices.
• Serve as the main point of contact for auditors and external service providers.

What we're looking for

• Certified Bookkeeper, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role (experience as Head/Senior Bookkeeper – an advantage).
• Proven experience managing a small bookkeeping team.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, payment processes, and intercompany accounting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong English communication skills – written and spoken.
