The team in Israel is specializing in security, developing services that protect the Azure platform, and the users and apps running on top of it. The team builds cloud-native Network security solutions, such as Application Gateway, WAF and more.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Software Developer Engineer to join our Azure Network Security Portal team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take part in development and enhancement of cutting-edge network security solutions on the Azure platform. As a Software Developer Engineer in the Portal team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining features that would enhance the experience of our Azure customers and assist them in securing their network.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure software solutions for Azure Network Security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure we are always using the best techniques and tools.
• Participate in code reviews, learn from and provide constructive feedback to peers.

**Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering
• 1+ years of proven hands-on experience building web applications using React.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or Vue.
• 1+ years experience web fundamentals, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, with hands-on experience working with TypeScript in modern front-end development.

Other Requirements

• 1+ years of proven hands-on technical skills working on large scale production systems

• 1+ years experienced in cloud programming environments, using modern architecture

• Understanding of testing concepts and methodologies.

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Experience with Azure cloud environment
• Familiarity with UI testing libraries.
