BMC is looking for a Junior UX Product Manager who brings a strong dose of imagination and creativity to the table - someone excited about shaping the future of digital experiences. This is an ideal role for a UX designer or visual storyteller.

You'll be designing user-centric interfaces and prototypes for Control-M, BMC’s enterprise workflow orchestration platform, and contributing fresh, innovative ideas at the earliest stages of product ideation and requirement gathering. Your design skills will help bring clarity to complex workflows and turn technical concepts into intuitive user journeys. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, presales, and marketing teams to simplify complexity and clearly communicate product value to users.

_**Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

• Support early-stage product ideation by creating future-state concepts and designs.
• Perform user research, including customer interviews, to uncover user needs, pain points and workflows.
• Analyze competing products to identify patterns and differentiators.
• Design user-centric UX flows, wireframes or prototypes for Control-M interfaces.
• Collaborate with other product managers, presales and marketing teams to maintain visual consistency across product.
• Create and enhance product decks using tools like PowerPoint or Figma, while evolving the visual design system.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally for SaaS or B2B enterprise products (internships or freelance work count).
• Fair understanding of user research practices.
• A portfolio that demonstrates UX thinking and intuitive UI design (presentation decks, design flows, etc.)
• Familiarity with complex platform design (e.g., dashboards, workflow tools, enterprise software), or a strong desire to learn it.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills - especially working with PMs, engineers, and marketers.
• High attention to detail, strong visual intuition, and a user-first mindset with creative thinking.
• Experience in modern design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Fluent English, verbal and written.

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience participating in product ideation or cross-functional design sprints.
• Exposure to data-heavy UX design (e.g., dashboards, logs, monitoring views).
• Exposure to product management principles or an interest in growing toward a PM role.
