Position Summary:

Our Company is developing a ground breaking security solution, which is now entering into the business development phase. As such, joining us represents a rare opportunity to build the security business from the ground up at an early stage, with the opportunity for significant personal growth and upside.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Business Development Manager, Security, is tasked with driving revenue growth by identifying new clients and partnership opportunities for our security products and services. This role involves prospecting and qualifying leads, building relationships with potential and existing clients, and collaborating with our security R&D team to understand and present solutions. Key responsibilities include developing business development strategies, creating compelling client proposals, and managing an opportunity pipeline while maintaining strong communication and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Prospecting and identifying new leads from enterprise, service provider and federal segments
  • Business Development and Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with technical teams to understand product features, gather customer use cases, and translate them into compelling client solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Creating accurate and compelling proposals and product demonstrations for clients.
  • Partnership Development: Building relationships with channel partners and resellers to expand reach and drive sales.
  • Market Research: Researching new market opportunities to identify areas for business growth.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess 7+ years of experience in developing business in the Cyber Market
  • Sales and Negotiation: Strong sales and persuasive skills to convince clients to purchase cybersecurity products or services.
  • Technical Understanding: A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and the technical capabilities of security solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build rapport and effectively convey technical information.
  • Networking: Proficiency in networking to build relationships with clients and partners.
  • Goal-Oriented: A personal drive and self-motivation to meet and exceed sales target
  • **Education-**BA, preferably in engineering, computer science preferred
  • Experience with early-stage business development
  • This role requires frequent international travel
