Sett is looking for an AI Playable Engineer to join our out-of-this-world, cross-functional team.

You’ll work at the intersection of web, gaming, and AI, turning prompts into playable experiences through cutting-edge generative pipelines.

Responsibilities:

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and improve our AI-driven generation systems to expand their creative boundaries
• Identify, analyze, and solve complex challenges, while designing scalable solutions that prevent future ones
• Test, evaluate, and interpret generative outputs to guide product improvements and inform new ideas
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to combine ideas and technologies into richer, more diverse playables
• Prototype and iterate quickly to explore new directions in AI-generated gameplay

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in game development — a must
• 2+ years of experience with web technologies (HTML5, TypeScript/JavaScript, etc.) — a must
• 2+ years of hands-on experience creating playables or interactive games without using traditional game engines — a must
• Experience or strong interest in LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted creation tools
• A builder’s mindset — loves to experiment, fail fast, learn, and iterate
• Systemic thinking — able to see both the big picture and the path to solving complex challenges step by step
• Passionate about innovation, learning, and pushing the limits of what AI can create
• Self-driven and collaborative, comfortable working across research and engineering domains
