Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Risk Operations Analyst at Vital Op in Tel Aviv District, Israel. This is a highly technical role that requires exceptional Excel proficiency as you'll be building and maintaining sophisticated financial models daily. You'll combine strong mathematical skills and economic intuition to support critical risk management operations including trade processing, position monitoring, and derivatives analysis. As you develop expertise in our advanced hedging strategies, you'll progress toward analytical responsibilities including risk strategy development.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills - this is essential (complex formulas, financial modeling, data analysis, VBA is a plus)
• Strong mathematical foundation and quantitative reasoning ability
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related quantitative field (Graduation with honors is an advantage)
• Deep interest in financial markets and trading with strong understanding of market dynamics
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and extreme attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Python programming skills are a significant advantage – Even partial knowledge is a plus.
