Zap Group, Israel’s leading digital platform for small and medium businesses, is hiring a visionary Head of SEO / AIO to lead one of the most strategic and innovative domains in the company.

This is a unique opportunity to manage a full SEO/AIO business unit, including a team of SEO specialists, and take ownership of a rapidly evolving operation at the intersection of search, automation, and AI.

You’ll be responsible for turning data and AI into actionable strategies that drive visibility, traffic, and real business outcomes for tens of thousands of SMBs across Israel — at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the SEO/AIO unit as a standalone business operation, including full ownership of strategy, execution, budget, performance and people.
• Manage and develop a team of SEO professionals, including hiring, coaching, and career development.
• Drive large-scale AI-powered SEO automation across hundreds of thousands of digital assets and landing pages.
• Develop and deploy AIO (AI Optimization) tactics — from dynamic content generation to predictive ranking optimization.
• Maintain ongoing collaboration and communication with SMB clients, including performance insights, strategy alignment, and value delivery.
• Oversee GEO-based SEO strategies that focus on local discoverability, search intent, and hyper-relevant experiences.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Product and Content to ensure integrated performance.
• Implement data-driven decision making, performance measurement systems, and agile workflows.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in SEO with hands-on exposure to GEO SEO and/or AI-powered optimization tools — must.
• Proven track record managing business operations or P&L ownership — must.
• Leadership experience with SEO teams of 10+ — must.
• Experience working directly with SMB clients, including performance management and value communication — strong advantage.
• Strong data orientation and comfort with BI tools, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Strategic thinker with operational excellence and execution capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in digital marketing agencies / performance marketing / digital service providers – strong advantage.
• Passion for innovation, automation, and turning AI into scalable solutions.
