Director of Portfolio Management

Earth & Beyond Ventures is an early-stage Israeli VC fund investing in DeepTech startups (companies grounded in core scientific innovation). We are a hands-on investor, running an incubator that hosts many of our portfolio companies physically. Aside from capital, we provide support through in-house services such as marketing, finance, and business development.

We are looking for a driven Director of Portfolio Management to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will be central to how we monitor, engage with, and support our portfolio companies - ensuring they thrive both operationally and strategically. The ideal candidate combines a proactive & self-starting mindset, analytical strength and organizational discipline with empathy for founders and a passion for technology-driven innovation.

Responsibilities

● Lead the fund’s ongoing engagement with portfolio companies, serving as a key interface between founders and the Earth & Beyond Ventures team.

● Oversee portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, and reporting; maintain visibility into each company’s milestones, challenges, and KPIs.

● Coordinate and deliver value-added support, directly and via our incubator services team (marketing, finance, HR, and operations).

● Develop structured post-investment frameworks and playbooks to guide company growth, governance, and accountability.

● Identify cross-portfolio needs and opportunities for shared learning and collaboration.

● Work closely with the investment team to inform follow-on decisions, board discussions, and strategic interventions.

● Build and nurture relationships with external partners, co-investors, advisors, and ecosystem players to expand value creation opportunities.

Qualifications

● 6-10 years of relevant experience in VC, operations, start-ups, consulting, or portfolio management.

● Strong understanding of early-stage company building - including strategy, finance, and execution challenges.

● Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a dynamic environment.

● Excellent communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills.

● Fluent in Hebrew and English, both written and verbal.

● Highly organized, proactive, and hands-on, with a passion for helping founders succeed.

● Technical background an advantage
