Role Description

We are seeking a Tech Lead / Engineer to own the technical development of our app. You’ll be responsible for building the product to scale, ensuring compliance with app store requirements, and implementing algorithms that blend astrology with AI-powered personalization. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground floor and shape the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Development: Build, launch, and maintain the mobile app (iOS/Android).
• Compatibility Algorithms: Implement and refine astrology-based compatibility scoring using birth data.
• AI & Personalization: Integrate machine learning models to improve recommendations and user experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, design, and business teams to align technical delivery with company goals.
• Scalability & Security: Architect reliable, secure systems for global users.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mobile app development (iOS/Android; Flutter or React Native preferred).
• Strong background in backend development (Python, Node.js, or similar).
• Experience with API integrations and data handling.
• Familiarity with AI/ML models for personalization/recommendation.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think beyond execution.

Nice to Have

• Experience in HR, dating, wellness, or social apps.
• Understanding of data privacy and user trust (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Previous startup experience.
