Walker Cole International is proud to support an exciting commercial-stage diagnostics company, a spin-out from a major European university, whose mission is to provide women everywhere with access to accurate, non-invasive and cost-effective diagnostic solutions to enable the early identification and prevention of women’s cancers.

Their Board of Directors is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead the company as it accelerates its global market expansion to increase patient access to its transformative diagnostic solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

• Corporate Governance & Reporting to Board of Directors and Investors
• Executive Leadership - long-term vision, inspirational communication, culture building, values setting
• Financial Management - P&L, budget approvals
• Fundraising - Series A/B
• Commercial Strategy - expansion roadmap for key regions, GTM plans, reimbursement negotiations
• Regulatory Strategy - roadmap and delivery for achieving regulatory approval in key markets
• Relationship Building - Customers, Partners, Investors and Regulatory bodies
• Operational Oversight - building high performing cross-functional teams to achieve business goals

Candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Track record of operating at C-suite level
• Demonstrable success in a leadership position in a comparable venture
• Experience securing equity funding
• Experience collaborating with academic and business stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes
• Deep expertise in the diagnostics/med tech industries – specifically in regulatory, compliance and financial reimbursement landscapes of key markets
• Familiarity with IP strategy, patent filing procedures and portfolio commercialisation
