**Job Description

**We’re looking for an experienced professional or academic expert in Actuarial Science to contribute to the training and development of advanced artificial intelligence models. In this role, you’ll leverage your deep knowledge of risk assessment, insurance mathematics, and financial modeling to evaluate, refine, and enhance AI systems’ understanding of complex actuarial concepts.

This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity ideal for actuaries, data scientists, or financial risk professionals who want to apply their expertise in a new and impactful context—advancing the next generation of intelligent systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review AI-generated content related to actuarial topics, such as probability models, life contingencies, risk theory, insurance pricing, and financial reporting.
• Provide expert-level feedback to ensure the factual accuracy, conceptual soundness, and clarity of actuarial outputs produced by AI systems.
• Identify nuanced errors or gaps in AI reasoning, calculations, or assumptions, and suggest precise corrections.
• Contribute to refining datasets and guidelines that improve the AI’s ability to process and communicate actuarial and risk-based information.
• Collaborate with internal AI researchers to maintain consistency and quality across all actuarial training materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Professional experience in actuarial or quantitative risk management roles will be considered.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, financial mathematics, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., IFRS 17, Solvency II, GAAP).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Fluency in English and access to a reliable internet connection.
• Ability to complete standard background and ID verification procedures.
