We’re looking for an exceptional VP of AI to lead the AI division of a leading defense organization

A strategic role driving cutting-edge innovation in AI, Machine Learning, and advanced Computer Vision systems.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic impact, defining the organization’s AI vision, research standards, and technological excellence.

You’ll lead talented Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and AI Researchers, driving the next generation of intelligent defense technologies.

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Define and execute the organization’s AI research strategy.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary AI teams.
• Drive research in Computer Vision, Signal Processing, Image Analysis, Object Detection & Tracking, Deep Learning and Neural Networks.
• Translate operational challenges into innovative AI solutions.
• Collaborate with academia and industry to integrate cutting-edge technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in the defense industry – mandatory!
• Proven background (6+ years) in AI/ML research and development.
• At least 3 years leading AI or Data Science teams.
• Hands-on expertise in Signal Processing, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Object Detection & Tracking, and Deep Learning – must-have!
• Master’s degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Physics / Mathematics (Ph.D. – advantage).
