- Design and development of mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems in compliance with functional and regulatory requirements.
- Perform and analyze mechanical and system-level tests.
- Lead and support prototype development and evaluation.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, system engineers, and QA engineers during all design and design-freeze stages.
- Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and engineering change records.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Several years of experience (preferably 3+) in design and development of invasive medical devices – a strong advantage.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment (R&D, QA, manufacturing).
- Proficiency in CAD design software (SolidWorks).
- Familiarity with quality and regulatory standards for medical devices – advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude, ownership, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of technical English (reading and writing).
