Role Overview

We are looking for a Game Economist to design, analyze, and optimize the in-game economy across our products. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical thinking, a deep understanding of player motivation, and hands-on experience in game economy design within the iGaming or mobile gaming industry.

Location: Kiryat Ono, Tel Aviv, Isreal

On site: work from the office Monday to Thursday. Work remotely on Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Design, balance, and maintain in-game economies, including currencies, rewards, sinks, and progression systems.
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and design teams to ensure healthy economic loops and player retention.
• Develop and monitor economic KPIs such as ARPU, LTV, retention rate, churn, conversion, and monetization efficiency.
• Analyze player behaviors and transaction data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Build predictive models to forecast the impact of economic changes on player engagement and revenue.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on the game’s economic performance and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Game Design, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Game Economist, Game Designer, or Product Analyst in a gaming company (preferably iGaming or mobile games).
• Strong understanding of free-to-play or sweepstakes-style economies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical teams.
• High fluency in English.
