We’re hiring a BI Analyst to turn raw data into clear, actionable insights and high-quality dashboards. You will help define trustworthy, business-ready KPIs and work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations to translate questions into dashboards, analyses, and lightweight experiments.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards with high-performance data sources
• Manage Tableau users, projects, permissions, extracts, and schedules
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and independently design and build secure, scalable data sources (views, aggregates, RLS-ready models)
• Write production-grade SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs) and optimize queries for performance and cost
• Monitor data quality (basic checks, outlier detection, reconciliation)
• Create and maintain clear documentation, including a metrics catalog/data dictionary
• Translate stakeholder questions into dashboards, reports, and experiments

Must-have skills

• Tableau expertise: LODs; parameters/actions; row-level security; extract vs. live strategy; Tableau Cloud/Server user and permission management
• Strong SQL: window functions, CTEs, conditional logic, date/time handling, performance tuning
• Solid understanding of BI data modeling and KPI design
• Statistics and A/B literacy: descriptive statistics; familiarity with common distributions; theoretical understanding of hypothesis testing (p-values, confidence intervals)

Nice to have

• BigQuery or other cloud data warehouses
• Python (pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
• Apache Airflow (building simple DAGs, scheduling, data checks)
• Tableau Pulse or Slack/Telegram alerting (notifications)
