**The Role: AI Product Analyst

**As a Product Analyst at Tavily, you will turn complex, messy data into clear, actionable insight. You’ll build clean, well-modeled datasets, design core business metrics, and help teams across the company make better, faster, and more data-informed decisions.

This is a great role for someone who loves diving into ambiguity, asking sharp questions, and creating clarity through data. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, business, and engineering, shaping the analytical foundation that drives Tavily’s growth.

What You'll Do

• Own the transformation layer of the data stack using dbt and SQL, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Design and maintain core data models and business logic.
• Build and iterate on dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support decision-making across product, business, and R&D teams.
• Work directly with teams across product, business, and R&D to surface insights that influence strategy and execution.
• Manage and structure messy, multi-source data (Snowflake, MongoDB, and other SQL/NoSQL systems).

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in an analytics or data role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation (pandas, plotly, etc.).
• Experience with BI tools and building user-friendly dashboards.
• Strong business understanding — you don’t just write queries, you ask why.
• A passion for messy data and a track record of turning it into meaningful insights.
• Experience with Snowflake and MongoDB.
• Understanding of AI or ML-driven products and their data needs.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Familiarity with Airflow or other orchestration tools
• Background in experimentation or A/B testing
