Innovative startup in the gaming industry, specializing in managing online social games for the U.S. market.
Located in Tel Aviv with a hybrid work model, the company employs 160 people, including 80 in Israel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead frontend development across existing and new products
- Modernize the current stack (including legacy jQuery/Bootstrap) while delivering real business value
- Drive architecture, performance, and UI/UX improvements
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams
- Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of frontend developers over time
- Own the quality of all team outputs — from technology to processes
Tech Stack:
TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Next.js, React.js / Svelte.js, Webpack / Vite, Tailwind CSS, PWA, mobile app packaging, REST APIs & WebSocket integrations, GitHub + CI/CD workflows
Requirements:
- 3 years of frontend development experience, ideally in high-traffic web environments
- Mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript and deep experience with frameworks like React/Next.js
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time UIs
- Prior experience in a tech lead or team lead role
- Comfortable navigating and improving legacy systems
- Strong sense of ownership, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
- Experience in the gaming or casino industry is a bonus, but not required
