Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Legal and Policy Expert to shape the future of responsible AI. You will contribute to a pioneering project that builds specialized datasets for AI, guiding systems to navigate complex legal and policy matters safely and ethically. Your work will directly support global efforts to reduce AI risks and ensure lawful, balanced AI behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review realistic legal and policy interactions to inform AI system responses.
• Assess and refine AI-generated outputs for compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify sensitive topics and articulate boundaries for responsible AI behavior.
• Provide expert analysis of global legal, privacy, and regulatory frameworks relevant to AI applications.
• Draft clear, concise, and precise documentation to support dataset development and project objectives.
• Advise on risk mitigation strategies for sensitive or ambiguous legal and policy scenarios.
• Champion a culture of accuracy, fairness, and ethical responsibility across the project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in legal and regulatory domains, especially technology law, privacy, or AI regulation.
• Exceptional ethical and policy judgment with a strong sense of professional responsibility.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity in complex topics.
• Experience interpreting and applying legal frameworks to real-world or technical scenarios.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional, remote teams and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high standards of accuracy.
• JD, LLM, or equivalent professional experience in law, governance, or public policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialization in AI governance, digital ethics, or international technology law.
• Experience with legal compliance in AI or data-driven technology projects.
• Background in developing or assessing instructional datasets for AI/ML systems.
