A global startup developing SaaS systems for the hospitality industry, enabling hotels to control and distribute their room inventory directly to travel organizations. The platform shortens the supply chain, reduces costs, and ensures higher quality distribution.
The technological challenge is to build a distributed network capable of operating at much higher scale than typically seen in the industry.
Located in Ramat Gan near the train line, the company operates a hybrid model with one day of remote work. The company has 120 employees globally, including 30 in Israel.
The role-
- Part of a global development team (3 developers in Israel, 2 abroad).
- Report to a team lead based overseas, with daily communication in English.
- Backend development in Node.js on Linux.
- Work with MySQL in a SaaS environment.
- Work with cloud platforms: GCP and AWS.
- Build and maintain a distributed network to support high-scale operations.
Requirements-
5 years of backend development experience
Strong experience with Node.js.
Experience with AWS and/or GCP
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with NoSQL databases such as Redis or MongoDB
Experience with Gearman, RabbitMQ, or SQS -advantage.
