About the Role

Join HiOctave as a Senior Frontend Engineer and build the UI layer of agentic AI. You’ll craft high-performance, real-time web and mobile experiences that make AI feel human. Collaborate across design, backend, and AI teams to ship fast and shape the future of our frontend stack.

You’ll influence both the technical foundation and product direction of HiOctave’s frontend stack, helping define standards that will scale as we bring AI-native customer experience to millions of SMBs.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain rich, performant mobile/web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop real-time, AI-powered experiences - dashboards, conversation tools, and analytics interfaces.
• Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to integrate Agent-driven features and live customer interactions.
• Shape the architecture, standards, and foundations of HiOctave’s frontend systems.
• Partner with product and design to craft highly polished, intuitive, and delightful user experiences.
• Champion best practices in performance, accessibility, and code quality.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of experience building and scaling modern web applications.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and the modern web stack.
• Experience with real-time, AI-driven, or data-intensive interfaces.
• A strong eye for design and a commitment to detail and product quality.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, product-led startup environment.
• Bonus: experience with AI integrations, voice/chat UX, or customer service platforms.
