Operations Project Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing operational projects from development to serial production (Design Transfer).

The role includes leading the transfer processes from development to manufacturing, designing production lines, working with subcontractors, and providing engineering support until the product is fully production-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead cross-functional operational projects.
• Plan and oversee manufacturing processes and build production infrastructure.
• Work with R&D to ensure stability and quality during the product transfer to production.
• Manage pilot production (prototypes) and prepare complete manufacturing documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors locally and globally: set up production lines, train production teams, and evaluate new suppliers.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Management Engineering / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or operational project management
• Experience in product transfer from development to production (NPI / Design Transfer)
• Experience working with subcontractors in the electronics or medical industry – significant advantage
• Experience in mass production processes, writing procedures, and documentation
• Proficiency in project management systems (MS Project, SAP, AGILE – advantage)
