El-Mul is an industrial hi-tech company located in Rehovot Science Park. We develop and manufacture detectors for electron microscopes for analytical and semiconductor markets. We also develop and manufacture detectors for Mass Spectrometry systems. The company has a strong R&D department, including physicists, mechanical and electronics engineers. Detectors are manufactured in-house in clean room environment and include various processes, assembly and testing.

El-Mul is looking for an R&D physicist for development of new technologies and products, as well as leading R&D projects.

Job Profile

• Lead feasibility study of new technologies and products

• Strong experimental and simulation skills

• Define specifications of new products

• Characterize new products versus predefined specifications

• Project management capabilities: plan project activities and timeline, working with customers and suppliers, on spec and on time deliveries

• Lead or support product life cycle from feasibility study to transfer to production

Candidate Profile

• MSc/PhD in physics, chemical physics, or semiconductor device physics

• Ability of conducting and leading independent research and development

• Good communication skills and ability to work with internal and external partners

• Good muti-tasking capabilities

• Experience in project management – advantage

• Knowledge of measurement methods and data analysis. Matlab / Phyton – advantage.

• Fluency in English
